Ubuntu: "Power of Us"

Open Design Afrika (ODA) is a proudly Afrikan social enterprise and non-profit organisation. Representing a global community of thought leaders, change-makers and creative problem-solvers.

ODA is dedicated to contributing to the designing of a thriving future for people & the planet. Its annual festival "UBUNTU: The Power of US" celebrates impactful design, social innovation, and creativity while democratising participation, knowledge sharing, collaboration, and skills development.

In collaboration with our team, ODA engaged to designing the main event’s space for Open Design Afrika's annual "UBUNTU: The Power of US" Festival.

The space will serve as the central location for gatherings, small workshops, dialogues, and movie screenings during the festival, fostering a sense of belonging, collaboration, conversation, unity, warmth, fun, and great social cohesion. Our design sought to create a memorable experience that sparks a feeling of inclusivity, ensuring every individual feels uniquely valued and special.
